The Ignite started strong, dominating the first two sets with powerful offense and solid defense. However, their momentum was disrupted when star player Leketor Member-Meneh suffered an ankle injury in the second set and had to leave the game. Middle blocker Blake Mohler also played a crucial role, contributing 11 kills and a block. The Ignite’s middle blockers, in general, were a force to be reckoned with, scoring numerous points and dominating at the net.
The Mojo fought back in the third set, taking advantage of the Ignite’s momentary lapse in focus after Member-Meneh’s injury. However, the Ignite regained their composure in the fourth set, finishing the match strong and securing the victory. This win was particularly important for the Ignite as they prepared to head back on the road for their next match.
The Ignite’s victory over the Mojo was a testament to their teamwork, resilience, and determination. Despite losing their star player, they found a way to win, proving that they are a force to be reckoned with in the Pro Volleyball Federation.
