The Iowa Hawkeyes advanced to the Big Ten Tournament Championship game by defeating Nebraska 83-66. Iowa started off slow trailing Nebraska for most of the first half. Turnovers were a problem as Caitlin Clark had five of the six Iowa committed in the first half. Iowa caught up and took a 38-35 lead into halftime. Iowa came out of halftime and never looked back taking the lead up to 17 points and went on to an easy victory.

Caitlin Clark had a great game scoring 41 points with 9 rebounds. This was her fourth time this year scoring over 40 points. Monika Czinano finished with 22 points. Iowa shot 51.7% from the field as a team and had nine block shots. Iowa looks ready for another Tournament title.

Nebraska, who was playing their third game in three days just could not keep their magic going. They struggled against the Iowa defense once it got going and struggled shooting the three pointers, making only 3 of 26 attempts. Isabelle Bourne finished the night with 16 points. Jaz Shelley and Sam Haiby both finished with 15 points, but it was not enough tonight. Nebraska finished the season 24-8 and can rest a few days to get ready for a possible NCAA tournament invitation. This team could cause a lot of headaches for a few teams.

Iowa will take on Indiana in the tournament final game tomorrow afternoon. The place will be a madhouse as Hawkeye fans traveled well for the tournament and the Hoosiers can basically just walk from Bloomington to the game.
