Indiana Upsets Ohio State Advancing to the Big Ten Championship Game

Indianapolis, IN

On Saturday, the No. 5 seeded lady Hoosiers upset No. 1 seeded Ohio State in the semifinal round of the Big Ten Tournament at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. Indiana will make its first appearance in the championship game since 2002. The starting five for Indiana all scored in double digits as Ohio State relied heavily on Jacy Sheldon’s 22 points. The Hoosier guards came up huge, led by Nicole Cardaño-Hillary 16 points. Ali Patberg poured in 15 points, and Chloe Moore-McNeil scored 11 points getting the start today with Aleksa Gulbe being out of the starting lineup due to feeling ill. Gulbe did gut out 14 mins and 6 points off the bench. The Hoosier will face No.2 seed Iowa on Sunday at 4 p.m. in the Big Ten Championship game.
