Bloomington, Indiana- With the Big Ten basketball regular season now concluded, attention swiftly turns to the diamond as the Indiana softball team begins to host home games at Andy Mohr Field. The Hoosiers have stormed through their non-conference schedule with a 15-4 record. With a remarkable five-game winning streak, highlighted by a flawless performance at the Hoosier Classic this past weekend, the Hoosiers left no doubt about their capabilities. Indiana dispatched Bowling Green and Valparaiso with ease, securing a perfect 4-0 record on home turf.

However, a weather-induced hiccup interrupted their momentum on Tuesday as they prepared to host the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers. Lightning halted the game at the top of the fourth inning. The Hoosiers now focus on the upcoming Indiana Invite, slated for Friday, March 10, at Andy Mohr Field. Scheduled to face off against Oakland, Indiana, aims to maintain their winning ways, weather permitting.
