Purdue volleyball upsets #3 Wisconsin 3-2

West Lafayette, IND – Purdue continued its late season run by knocking off no. 3 Wisconsin in a five set thriller on Friday night. The no. 16 Boilers started off the match with sic straight points before the Badgers would claw their way back mid way through the first set before taking it 25-22.  The Boilers would fight back though, taking the next two sets 25-19 and 25-20. After Wisconsin tied things up with a 25-12 fourth set, the Holloway Gymnasium atmosphere roared back to life and helped the Boilers regain momentum and finally take the fifth 16-14.  The victory puts the Boilers 18-8 and third in the B1G heading into the final three matches of the regular season. They face Maryland tonight in the final home match, where they will celebrate their seniors post-match.
