College volleyball is back, and Indiana wasted little time giving its home crowd something to cheer about.

The Hoosiers opened the 2026 campaign Friday night at Wilkinson Hall with a four-set exhibition victory over Notre Dame, 25-21, 25-20, 23-25, 15-11.

Second-year outside hitter Jaidyn Jager led Indiana with 17 kills while Sara Snowbarger added 15. Fifth-year middle blocker Kiki Granberry chipped in 10 kills while hitting an impressive .643.

Indiana hit .287 as a team and used all three setters as head coach Steve Aird continued experimenting with lineups during fall camp.

The Hoosiers return to action Aug. 21 for the Cream and Crimson scrimmage before opening the regular season with a major test at No. 7 Louisville on Aug. 28. Indiana’s home opener is set for September against Cal Poly.
