After a challenging two-week road stretch resulting in a 1-3 record, Indiana volleyball returned to Bloomington at Wilkinson Hall for a match against Rutgers on Friday. Seeking a season sweep after a victorious away match on November 3, Indiana secured the victory in three sets.
The Hoosiers are having one of their best seasons in a decade. Indiana boasts 18 wins, with the passionate home crowd playing a significant role in their success. The program’s growth is evident, breaking attendance records at Wilkinson Hall this season, and the recent victory against Rutgers drew a crowd of nearly 1,800 fans, showcasing the unwavering support for the team.
Indiana looks forward to tough matchups, including the upcoming match against Minnesota on Sunday at home with a 1 pm start, as it aims to make a statement in the remaining games.
