Ohio State defeated Iowa 60-59 to advance to the semifinals for the fourth time in five years. Cotie McMahon scored 18 points playing 33 minutes. Ajae Petty and 12 rebounds in the game for Ohio State. Iowa had two chances at the win but missed a layup and with 0.6 to go missed a go-ahead jumper. Iowa had four players in double figures but came up one point short. Ohio State will play UCLA in the semifinals Saturday evening.
