Indianapolis, IND – The Indiana Fever continued their hot streak on Wednesday against the Connecticut Sun, breaking an 11-game  winless streak to the Sun that goes back to mid-2021. Indiana has now won four of their last five after returning from the Olympic break. Wednesdays action also saw Caitlin Clark set a new WNBA rookie record for 3-pointers, now currently set at 88. A sell-out crowd, including notable celebrities David Letterman, Anthony Richardson, Gabby Thomas and Simone Biles, saw a fierce, physical match-up with there Fever prevailing 84-80.  For Thomas and Biles, its was their first taste of WNBA action and they helped the Fever celebrate afterwards.
