Indiana Women’s Volleyball Triumphs in Big Ten Opener Over Illinois

The Indiana women’s volleyball team launched their Big Ten season at their home turf in Wilkinson Hall, securing a 3-1 victory against Illinois on Wednesday night (25-13, 24-26, 25-17, 25-17). The Hoosiers delivered a stellar performance, highlighted by Senior middle blocker Savannah Kjolhede’s remarkable 12 blocked shots, marking a career-high. The team collectively managed a total of 18 blocks throughout the match. Additionally, Freshman Ramsey Gary showcased an outstanding defensive effort, notching a career-high 24 digs for the Hoosiers.
Next up, the Hoosiers are preparing to hit the road, heading to Madison, Wisconsin, on Sunday, September 24, where they will face off against the formidable No. 1 Wisconsin Badgers.
