The Hoosiers lose to Louisville 21-14 on Saturday afternoon. This was a test for the Hoosiers to see how they stack up against a team that is similar to them. The Hoosiers were down 21-0 at halftime but did show some promise in the second half holding the Cardinals scoreless the rest of the game.  Indiana’s offense did come alive in the third quarter scoring 14 points but just could not get over the hump. After an onside kick recovery to start the third quarter, Tayven Jackson marched the offense down the field to throw a 30-yard touchdown to Jaylin Lucas. Josh Henderson added a two-yard touchdown run at the end of the quarter to make the score 21-14. That was as close as the Hoosiers could get. Tayvon Jackson did play the whole game and threw for 299 yards with one touchdown and an interception. The Hoosiers could only gain 58 yards on the ground as a team. It was a nice comeback effort for Indiana but there is work to be done to get ready for the rest of the Big Ten season.
