Sydney Parrish will be at Victory Field on Sunday April 30 to throw out the ceremonial first pitch at 1:20pm. She is also scheduled to sign autographs before the game from 12:30 to 1pm. Miss Basketball in 2020 Sydney Parrish went to Oregon and then after two years transferred to IU. Her experience there had a good impact on team this year. In Oregon, she started 34 of her 55 games and scored 410 points in two seasons. During her first season as a Hoosier, she played six games off the bench to start the season. When Grace Berger had her knee injury in November, Parrish stepped in to start and never looked back.
Parrish had 385 points this year while shooting 44.8 from the field. She had 55 three pointers this year, shooting 36.7 from three-point land. She was second in rebounds with 174 this year. She was really a key spark that led to the success of the Hoosier Women basketball program this year. It’s nice to see Sydney, “Back home again” in Bloomington Indiana. Make sure to come out and say hi Sunday at Victory Field.
