No. 2 Indiana women basketball defeats No. 13 Michigan

No. 2 Indiana had a strong first half to defeat No. 9 Michigan 68 – 52 at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall. This was Indiana’s 12th in a row and ninth victory over a ranked team this season. Mackenzie Holmes led the Hoosiers with 27 points and Chloe Moore-McNeil poured in 13 points with four  3-pointers and three steals for the game. Both teams played tougher defense in the second match up with Indiana forcing 21 turnovers and Michigan holding Indiana below their season average. Up next for Indiana is sold out home game against Purdue on Sunday at noon. If Indiana wins on Sunday they will clinch apart of the Big Ten Championship.
