The #10 Kentucky women’s gymnastics team returned to their winning ways by defeating #13 Alabama in a close meet on Friday night.  The push for points came down to the final participant on the floor, Raena Worley, who put up a solid score propelling the Cats to the victory and new program record score.

Kentucky’s Worley took home the all-around honors with a score of 39.675. Other notable performances on the night included Isabella Magnelli’s 9.925 vault and 9.975 balance beam and a 9.950s for Hailey Davis and Worley on the floor exercise.  Alabama’s highlight of the meet was a perfect 10.000 on the uneven bars by Makarri Doggette. 

The Wildcats are on the road to Columbia, Mo., on Feb. 3rd before returning home to Memorial Coliseum on Feb. 10th to face Eastern Michigan.
