Bloomington, IN
Indiana’s graduate student Grace Berger’s season-high 21 points and Mackenzie Holmes’ 21 helped the No.6 Hoosiers roll past Rutgers 91-68 on Sunday at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.
The Rutgers Scarlet Knights started the game hot, outshooting Indiana early in the first half and building a five-point lead before Indiana went on an 11-point run to take the lead and never look back. Indiana was hot from beyond the arc, going 61% on 11-18 shooting.
Indiana head coach Terri Moren was happy with the win but noted that the team was slightly off. She said that Grace’s big offensive game today helped the team when they needed the points. Next for Indiana is a road game on Wednesday as they take on Minnesota.
