#5 Indiana Fights Back to Beat Purdue

Grace Berger steps up late to help the Indiana win.

The Indiana Hoosiers who were shorthanded found a way to claw back and beat Purdue 73-68 in overtime. Mackenzie Holmes was injured, and Nicole Cardano-Hillary was out due to health protocols. Down by six points with a minute to go Grace Berger stepped up and brought IU back. With less than 10 seconds to go, Berger hit a floating shot in the lane to put the Hoosiers up by one. Abbey Ellis had a chance with 2 seconds left to win the game. Ellis was fouled and missed the first free throw but hit the second to send the game into overtime. Indiana had all the momentum during overtime and thanks to their defense pulled away for the victory. The Barn Burner Trophy goes home with the Hoosiers.
