Wolverines return to winning ways against Thunder Hawks

Week 3 came and gone but not with out some upsets, lets start first with the Fort Wayne Wolverines who had a chance to come out of week three with a 2-1 record taking on the 2019 BGFL champion Michiana Thunder Hawks, the Wolverine’s defense going into week 3 had only allowed 22 points that showing how dominate the defense has been. This game would be no different and would once again would showcase both teams defense.

This game would be a barn burner and have some intense moments from both sides, but the Wolverines would manage to hit the endzone to take the lead 6-0 and that would be all they needed and hold off the defending champs for the victory.

Fort Wayne will once again be on the road and will travel to Joliet Illinois to take on the Bucs who are winless (0-2) and have allowed 64 points against them in two games but the Wolverines will have to produce offensive points and take some pressure off the Defense this week and show that they are contenders in the North. The road will only get tougher the rest of the season.

Other scores in the league:
The Allen Co Lions beat the Joliet Bucs 12-6, Lake Co vs West Michigan Patriots was postponed.

In the North, the 2019 runners up Calvary beat the Cutters 32-6 and the Stateline Seminoles upset the Indy Tornadoes.
