Indiana Falls to Iowa

Jordan Bohannon hits the game winning three with 0.8 to go.

The season is over for Indiana. Indiana was winning by six with less than four minutes to go. Iowa’s coach went off and had to be pulled back from the Indiana bench. That seemed to put a fire under the Hawkeyes, and they began their comeback. They hit a shot, and a free throw, then hit two threes to take the lead. Xavier Johnson hit a shot to tie the game and hopefully hold Iowa for overtime one last time during regulation. With time running out, Iowa looked for one last shot or settled for overtime. Jordan Bohannon went to the bank, hitting a three-pointer off the glass with 0.8 seconds to go to stun the IU fans that made the trip from Bloomington. Iowa stuns Indiana 80-77.

The tournament is over for Indiana, but the season is not because of their performance this weekend. Indiana now waits for selection Sunday to see where they will play next.
