Columbus North Tops Columbus East in Rivalry Matchup

The Columbus East Olympians hosted crosstown rivals Columbus North at the BCSC Soccer Complex on Thursday night. The Bull Dogs controlled much of the action, outshooting East 15-6. North’s defensive pressure paid off as they found the back of the net twice, securing a 2-0 victory in the rivalry match. The Olympians battled throughout but couldn’t break through against the Bull Dogs’ defense, and the Olympians managed only one shot on goal compared to the eight for the Bull Dogs. Up next for the Olympians will be East Central on September 2, and the Bull Dogs will travel to Cathedral on September 4th.
