Michigan Senior Night Sparks Big Moments as Oklahoma Stays Perfect at Crisler Center Big Ten Gymnastics Gymnastics SEC Gymnastics by Tony Vasquez - March 17, 2026March 17, 20260 Friday night inside Crisler Center felt a little extra special with it being Senior Day for the Michigan Wolverines women’s gymnastics. It was a night full of big routines and a few emotional goodbyes. Michigan came out firing, right out of the gate. The Wolverines stuck their vaults and flipped their way to a strong early lead, scoring a 49.475 in the opening rotation. The home crowd roared as seniors like Reyna Guggino nailed her final vault in Crisler with a near-perfect landing. Oklahoma, meanwhile, had a rare slow start on bars—but champions adjust fast. By the second rotation, the Sooners blasted ahead on vault. With huge, high-flying routines, including near-perfect scores from Hannah Scheible and Elle Mueller, they powered into first place and never looked back. Their floor routines were packed with energy, landing five straight scores of 9.90 or higher. On beam, they stayed steady and confident, sealing the win with a final score of 197.925. Even though they finished second with a strong 197.100, this night was about more than just scores for Michigan. It was about celebrating their seniors. In the final rotation, the Wolverines lit up the floor with 49.600. Carly Bauman led the way with a dazzling 9.950, while teammates Sophia Diaz and Jahzara Ranger followed close behind with 9.925s. Eastern Michigan Eagles women’s gymnastics finished with a 195.025, showing determination throughout the meet. Competing against two top programs isn’t easy, but the Eagles kept pushing through every rotation and gained valuable experience heading into the postseason. With the regular season complete, all three teams now turn their focus to the championship season. Oklahoma heads in undefeated, Michigan builds momentum from a strong senior night, and Eastern Michigan continues to grow.
