East Lansing, Mich. – Michigan State’s gymnastics team dominated Maryland with an impressive team score of 197.550-195.525 at Jenison Field House. The win marked their second-best team score of the season and their most significant margin of victory.
Michigan State secured a share of every title against Maryland. The Spartans set the tone early in the competition, seizing the lead with a strong showing on vault and concluded the meet with a solid floor exercise, securing victory with confident routines from the team.
Michigan State now sets its sights on capturing its second consecutive Big Ten regular-season title at the upcoming Big Five Meet hosted by Penn State, airing on the Big Ten Network on Friday, Feb. 23, at 6 p.m.
