Fever re-sign Lindsay Allen

The Indiana Fever announced today the team re-signed guard Lindsay Allen to a one-year contract. Per team policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed.

“Lindsay was a great addition for us last year at the point guard position. Her vision, basketball IQ and leadership added a lot to our team. We are pleased to have her back again in Indiana,” Fever Head Coach Marianne Stanley said.

In her first season with Indiana after being traded from Las Vegas last offseason, Allen recorded 5.4 points, 1.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists, a 42.8 field goal percentage, 81.1 free throw shooting percentage and 17.8 minutes per game, which were all career-high averages.

The Notre Dame alumna started eight games in 2021 and joined Kelsey Mitchell and Teaira McCowan as the only Fever players to play all 32 games last season.

2021 saw Allen play in her 100th career WNBA game, and also finished second in the WNBA in assist-to-turnover ratio at 3.1 behind only Sue Bird. She also made a career-high 14 3-point field goals.

In 10 games played with the Melbourne Boomers in the WNBL this year, Allen is averaging 12.1 points and a team-high 3.7 assists per game.
