Michigan entered the Big Ten Women’s tournament with a first-round bye and showed why they earned it with a victory over Washington on Thursday afternoon. Michigan beat Washington 66-58 behind the scoring of freshman Olivia Olson who had 21 points. Michigan was winning by one at the half but stepped up their defense to pull off the win. Michigan will play Maryland tomorrow.
