Indiana falls to Ohio St.

Indiana looked all but out of the game mid-way through the 2nd half of today’s Big Ten Tournament game, being down by 20 points. Then it was like Indiana finally realized that they needed to not only win this game but might have to reach the semi-finals to just barely make it to the NCAA tournament. Within the closing moments of the game IU had found a way to cut the lead to 2 points. Then they remembered they are IU, a team known for bad shots and turnovers at the worst possible times this season. Not being able to get a decent open look at the basket, fouls, and a costly turnover in the winding seconds of the game ultimately did them in. Ohio State was able to hold on for a 79-75 win. Its almost a certainty at this point that the Hoosiers would miss the big dance, a team that had very high expectations to start the season with a player that will be a NBA draft pick. Now, the focus shifts to just that; will Romeo Langford stay for another season in Bloomington, or will he declare for the NBA draft this year. When asked during the post game press conference about his decision, he stated that he hasn’t made his mind up yet. Many doubt that is true, and feel he’s had is mind made up and will declare for the draft. We will just have to wait and see.
