IU falls flat to Nebraska 66-51

With Langford and Morgan leading the team with 17 and 18 points respectively, IU just couldn’t make it work tonight against the Cornhuskers. Hoosiers struggled on the boards, and was out rebounded 40 to 31. Nebraska was on fire beyond the arc and in front of it. Huskers shot 45% for the game and just wouldn’t let the Hoosiers get close for any substantial amount of time. The top star for Nebraska Palmer Jr. who messed around and almost got a triple double with 11 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists.

The whole game the Hoosiers never seemed to get it together or controlled. Lots of mental errors plagued IU tonight. Time after time the Hoosiers would drive the lane into traffic and be forced to pick up the dribble, then try to pass out of that trap only to turn it over. This is the Hoosiers 2nd loss in 3 games and they are on the verge of losing their top 25 ranking. Their next game is this Saturday at Purdue 2pm tipoff on ESPN.
