Boom win second straight route of Blue Coats Noblesville Boom by Reggie Edwards - January 19, 20260 It’s been a rough season for the Noblesville Boom in their inaugural season of the rebrand, setting in last place of the NBA G League Eastern Conference, but they were riding high after a huge win on Sunday against the Delaware Blue Coats- a team they’ve struggled against over the last few years. Coming off a huge 24-point win the day before, the Boom were looking to build off that success, when they faced Delaware again on Martin Luther King Jr. Day and they did exactly what they set out to do- dominate. From the tip, they took control, nailing three pointers like crazy and tightening up the defense to get off to a high, double-digit lead during the first quarter. The second quarter saw Delaware start to close the gap and threaten to tie the game, heading into halftime with a near-single digit deficit, but the Boom took control again early in the second half, forcing a long Blue Coat scoring draught and putting the pressure on throughout, enroute to a 127-111 win. The Boom won’t be back home until January 30, when they return home from a two-game road trip up to Wisconsin, where they visit former Pacer Victor Oladipo and the Herd before coming back to Indiana to take on Birmingham in a two-game home series. Noblesville could move up far in the Eastern Conference standings if they win a few of these upcoming games, as they head into the final stretch before the Playoffs. -Reggie Edwards
