Columbus, OH – Ohio State opened their B1G season with the Michigan Wolverines visiting Covelli on Sunday. A strong late performance from the Wolverines allowed them to overtake the Buckeyes and steal a road victory from their rivals. The Buckeyes had strong performances on vault and uneven bars, but some untimely mistakes on the beam allowed Michigan to claw their way back into contention. The Buckeyes would come out with a final score of 197.025, but Michigan’s 197.400 proved too high to overcome on this chilly day in Columbus. Ohio State remains at home for their next meet against Illinois next Monday at 7 pm.
