IUPUI Advances To The Horizon League Finals

Macee Williams proved to be too much for Oakland to handle this afternoon in the first KEEPS Horizon League Tournament Semifinal game of the day. IUPUI won 86 to 63. Macee was unstoppable in the middle scoring 27 points with 15 rebounds. Williams went 13-14 from the field for the Jags to lead the charge to the finals tomorrow. Rachel Kent and Rachel McLimore both scored 13 points in the win. As a team the Jags shot 59% dominating the paint scoring 52 points there. The IUPUI lead was up to 25 at one point in the fourth and the team looked ready to punch their ticket to the NCAA Tournament. One more victory stands in the way as they will play Cleveland State who beat Green Bay 69-42. This is the third consecutive time IUPUI has made it to the Horizon League Tournament Finals.
