Indiana women remain at the top of the Big Ten with a victory over Northwestern

Bloomington, IN

Junior forward Mackenzie Holmes returned to the court for the Hoosier. Holmes ended up with 6 points and 6 rebounds in 23 mins as the Hoosiers put the Wildcats away 69-58. Aleksa Gulbe took advantage of Northwestern’s zone defense with 20 points and a double-double. Nicole Cardaño-Hillary went 3-5 from behind the arc with 17 points, and Grace Berger poured in 11 of her 15 points in the second half. Next up for the Hoosiers is Senior day this Saturday against Iowa, with the tipoff at 4 pm.
