One of the lady Hoosiers’ goals this season was to finally defeat Maryland, having lost 11 straight before today’s overtime victory. Ali Patberg led Indiana with 18, and Aleska Gulbe and Mackenzie Holmes had double-doubles to help the Hoosiers survive a late run by the Terrapins. The Hoosiers defense held Maryland’s high-scoring offense to just 63 points. Up next for the Indiana women’s basketball team, they hit the road to Wisconsin on Wednesday.
