Indiana grown Calvin Tankman signs with Major League Wrestling

New Castle, IN native Calvin Tankman has a multi-year deal with the national wrestling promotion Major League Wrestling aka MLW.

Tankman has made a name for himself in the state wrestling for various local promotion like Emerge (Colombus,IN), Bizarro Lucha (Indianapolis,IN) and WCWO (Indianapolis, IN) just to name a few. His size and athletic ability plus just over all presence once he walks through the curtain towards the ring quickly caught on with fans. His ability and work rate in the ring would always get the adoration of local fans, regardless if they were cheering for him or booing him during the match.

Just this past Saturday he was on a PPV on the Fite Network for Game Changer Wrestling aka GCW that was held at the Celebration Plaza At White River.

In a statement provided by MLW on their site Tankman said, “I’ve been waiting for an opportunity to show what I can do at the next level and MLW has given me that opportunity,” said Tankman. “I want the money, championships, and everything MLW has to offer and I don’t care who I have to go through to get it. It doesn’t matter if it’s Fatu, Hammerstone, or anyone else on the roster when I step in the ring, I’m going to prove that I’m one of the best young wrestler in the world.”

Signing with MLW is a big step in the right direction for Tankman. MLW provides a large nationwide audience for him to showcase his talent. MLW has a weekly show on BeIn Sports cable network, plus features tons of content and replays of their shows on the YouTube platform.
